These Parables were narrated so that everyone reading them may experience the presence of God and become open towards the true life in Him — in His Beauty, Harmony, Love!

Apostle Andrew:

Parable about

the Voice of the Heart

Jesus said: “Do not look with disdain at this man.
For it is a great feat to start transforming
evil into good in oneself!”

From memories of Apostle Andrew

There was a man. And he was neither rich nor poor. He did not differ specially from other people who lived around him. He was neither young nor old…

And this man was not strong-willed…

Although there were seeds of kindness in him, they did not sprout…

This man lived as everyone around him… He was ruled by whims and vices… And he was fettered by fears and weaknesses… And he did not feel good. His life went on as a dull procession of days. And there were neither joys nor achievements in it…

Every evening this man thought: “Well, tomorrow I will act better; I will not yield to my weaknesses and vices any more!”

But “tomorrow” came…, and again he was ruled by whims and vices, and was fettered by fears and weaknesses…

… Once the man thought: “Why I cannot live how I want to? Why I am acting not in a way I know I should act? Why my vices rule me and my fears fetter me?”

He began to think and found no reason not to live as he believes it is right to live, not to act as he considers appropriate.

And then the man started to ask God: “My Father and Creator! Why I cannot live how I want to live, cannot act as I think it is right to act? Why I became a slave to my vices and whims, to my fears and weaknesses? What is the reason?”

God answered him: “There is no any reason for this! You are free to act as you want to!”

Then the man said: “Please, advise me what I should do to stop my vices and weaknesses ruling my life?”

And God answered: “Each time before doing or saying something, listen to the voice of your spiritual heart and act as it tells you! Then you will be able to control your weaknesses and fears and get rid of vices and whims!”

And the man decided to fulfill God’s advice.

Next morning he got up imbued with determination to ask advice of the spiritual heart before doing or saying something…

Every morning his old father said him harsh words, grumbled and swore. The father told him that he was a useless person, and that the whole generation of human sons lived in a wrong way. The father enumerated all his offences and sorrows, and accused his son of everything in what he was and was not guilty…

This morning the father as always began to swear at his son, uttering offensive words.

And anger welled up in this man because of bitter, accusing words… And he was almost on the point of saying, as usual, poisonous words in response to his father, but remembered God’s advice.

And his heart had time to whisper: “Do not say offensive words, for your father loves you: he grieves over your troubles! You, too, love him! Hold back your angry words and ask his pardon!…”

And in reply to his father’s swearing the man bowed and said: “Forgive me, father!” And the anger went out. Then the man embraced his father and left to his work.

The father was very surprised… and stopped swearing from now on.

… In the evening, this man was coming back home after hard work. He bought a lot of food and was thinking how he would taste delicacies… He was quite inclined to gluttony…

On the way to home, he came to the house of a young widow who lived with small children. This woman had had to pay him a debt but could not save enough money…

For a long time he wanted to tell her that he would forgive her debt. And today, at last, he decided to do that. So he came to the house of the poor widow and told her that he would free her from her debt. The widow bowed low to him and thanked. The man was about to leave, but his heart whispered quietly: “Give to the children the food you bought for yourself! It will bring them joy!”

It was hard for him to fulfill this instruction of the heart. But when he gave the delicacies to the children and they started to dance joyfully, great joy rose in him as well! He was walking home easily, overfilled with happiness! And his heart was singing with joy!

Not every day that man could hear the voice of the heart, and not every time he could fulfill what the heart whispered to him. Yet day by day he tried more and more to live how his heart was telling him. And with every passing day his whims and vices ruled him less, his fears and weaknesses fettered him less. And the seeds of cordial love sprouted in the soul!

…Once this man was walking and saw a lot of strong and malicious men beating a young good lad. All people, who were passing by, just mended their pace, averted their faces and stepped aside in order to avoid being beaten themselves.

And this man was not really courageous. So he also wanted to pass by as if it was not his business… But his heart did not whisper that time, it screamed: “If you do not help, they will kill this good man! But you can save him!”

However the man was afraid and could not overcome his fear… He could neither leave nor help…

And the heart kept screaming: “Save him quickly!”

The man started to call God, because he could not overcome his fear. And he called Him not in a whisper or inwardly, but at the top of his voice: “God! Please, come here! God! Come here!”

People, who were passing by, stopped with surprise. And those who were far away came near too. So, from all around people ran to this place, stopped and looked: what had happened and where was God? And such a big crowd gathered that malicious people got frightened, left the young man and disappeared quickly.

And the young man stood up from the ground and thanked the man: “You are so brave! You saved my life!”

The man was going home, and the heart was shining like the sun in his chest, saying: “Love is stronger than all fears!”

… The time went by, and life of this man became more joyful and easier.

Once on Sunday the man went for a walk. He was walking and met the widow whose debt he had forgiven… She smiled at him tenderly and bowed low.

And the man was captivated by the sight of her beauty… He was often attracted to women, though he considered his lust as a great sin.

The man began to avert his eyes as not to look at her but remembered about the heart and asked its advice.

And heart said: “Look again and decide sincerely: do you like this woman or not?”

The man looked at her, and everything in him sparkled with love!

He answered to the heart: “For me there is no one better than her! I would give her everything!...”

“So, why are you grieving? If your desire is about giving to another rather than getting for yourself, it is not lust! It is love woke up in you! Go and tell this woman that you love her!”

And the man did. He came and said: “I love you! Be my wife!”

All friends and neighbors around him began to say: “How foolish this man is! His business has just taken off, so he could find a rich bride! But he took a widow with small children!... This widow would not refuse him even without marriage…”

And the man heard the song of the heart: “Happiness you give, happiness you get! You cannot buy happiness for money!”

His heart was shining brighter and stronger with love! And it transformed words and actions of this man!

And soon this man got married to this woman. Their mutual cordial love began to illuminate their whole life and warm their house! They started to raise their children together and to honor their parents.

And the man thanked God: “My Father and Creator! Your advice has transformed my whole life, has brought happiness to me! Now I have defeated my vices and whims, overcome my weaknesses and fears!”

And God answered him: “The one who learned to hear the voice of the spiritual heart will able to accomplish even more than that! For the voice of heart is the voice of Love! And all what is created and done with love comes from Me! For I am LOVE!”

The Parable about

the Golden Flower,
the River of Love

and the Immortal Gardener

Many legends were composed about the mystery of the Flower of Heart. Some legends call it the Flower of Life; some speak about it as about the Golden Flower, others assert that it is the Flower of Immortality. All these names are not casual: they reflect the blissful aroma of this Flower and lift slightly a veil of the mystery which surrounds it…

… Once there was a man who lived in a small valley hidden in the mountains. He lived easily and lightly! Many people called him saint; others called him monk; the others called him the Enlightened.

Yet he neither spoke nor thought about himself in that way.

Sometimes he called himself a gardener, although he did not have a garden. He cultivated just one single flower: the Golden Flower of Spiritual Heart, the Flower which grants Immortality.

This man lived simply. He lived and rejoiced at the existence that he contemplated! He was a friend with the mountains where he lived, with the winds which passed over his small valley, with the grasses and flowers which bloomed there in spring and beautified his abode during the summer. He was a friend with the stars which smiled at him at night, and with the sun which shone during the day. He was a friend even with the clouds and snows which covered his dwelling place in late autumn and in cold winter.

Sometimes animals or birds came to him; they were his friends. Sometimes people who needed help and healing visited him. And he helped them all; he never refused to help anybody.

He lived for a long, long time. But one day his Flower was grown and it was time for him to leave; he went to the other Immortals and became the Gardener Who sows seeds and cultivates shoots which produce new Golden Flowers.

And he left for people the memory of the Golden Flower which grants Immortality, and of the Source of the River of Love which flows and nourishes growing Flowers.

… The mystery of the Golden Flower attracted people. They climbed the mountains to find the Flower of Immortality. They found different flowers there, tore them off mercilessly and made powders and tinctures, decoctions and ointments… But those potions could not make them Immortal...

Others believed that magical power was hidden in the roots. And they dug them out and killed in vain those gentle creatures…

Nobody succeeded in finding the Golden Flower. And its mystery remained unsolved…

… But once a young man came to that place. His beloved was seriously ill. He was told that she was dying. Yet one healer said him that she will recover from her illness if the man gives her the Flower of Life.

The young man went to the mountains and found there a beautiful flower. Its corolla was so gentle that the young man thought it was the Flower of Life! He knelt down before the flower… but could not tear it off. The mercy towards life did not allow him to ruin this beauty!... The young man lowered his hands and whispered: “Forgive me!” And it was not clear whether he said this to his beloved or to the flower…

At that moment a Voice sounded: “He who respects life deserves to be helped!…”

This Voice was the Voice of the Divine Gardener, Who could appear in any time and in any place as any of the Immortal Ones.

He Himself consisted entirely of Light and Peace. Bliss emanated from each His movement and word.

“I am glad that you had mercy on this flower!” He said.

“The girl that I love is dying…” the young man whispered.

“You were told to give her the Flower of Life. But it is impossible to tear it off and bring somewhere! It is only possible to grow it from your own cordial love, nourished by the River of Love!”

“But my beloved is dying right now… And I do not have enough time to help her…” answered the young man.

“Do not grieve, I will help you. Over there, there is the Source of the River of Love. And a tiny pure brook is also streaming over there. Fill your hands with its water and tell to this water from your spiritual heart: ‘I love you!’. Then pour out this water on the flower and say to it the same words: ‘I love you!’ After a while dewdrops will appear on the petals. Collect these dewdrops from the flower, and this will be enough to cure your beloved! And while you are waiting for the dewdrops to come, enter the River of Love and try to understand the Laws оf Love according to which a person can live happily on the Earth!”

The Gardener explained to the young man how to dive into the Flow of the Living Light of the River of Love and disappeared.

The young man stayed in that Flow for a very long time and listened to the Living River; singing streams of it were telling him about the mysteries of life, about the laws of Tao.

And he understood how love transforms a human life! And any person who does not have cordial love in the heart cannot enter the River of Love! Souls, in which the light of love does not shine, are not capable of touching the Flow of Living Love, and that is why they are deprived of happiness.

On the other hand, those who live, giving their love, live and grow in the Flow of the River of Love where Light, Joy, and Bliss are streaming! And only these people can be happy!

And when the young man realized all this, being filled with happiness, and transformed himself, he could see transparent droplets on the petals of the flower. He picked them up carefully and went to his beloved. She took the medicine of the Gardener and was cured.

… They lived in peace and happiness; for their life was passing in the River of Love!

… When their son grew up and became a young man, he decided to thank the Immortal Gardener for the wonderful healing of his mother, for the life He gave her, and in that way to him too.

So he took the road to find that small valley in the mountains.

He climbed higher and higher and admired the beauty which was opening to his sight. Majestic mountains greeted him with their peaks illumined with the sun. Gentle wind, which was flying over the open space, embraced him. Flowers, which beautified a valley, gave him their fragrance. He was walking, and stars smiled at him at night, and the sun lit up each day.

He found a small valley in the mountains, where the Immortal Gardener lived once, and the Source where the River of Love originated.

And he thought then: “I wish to cultivate the Flower of Life and then to tell people about the Way to the true happiness!”

And at once he saw the Immortal Gardener. The Gardener said: “Let it be as you want; for you are dreaming not only of your personal welfare, but of the welfare of others! I will show you how — out of the Silence of Tao — the Flower of Life opens in a human spiritual heart! I will show you the Depths from which its root comes out! And then you can grow your own Flower and tell people about the mystery of the Flower of Life — the Flower of Heart which grows from Infinite Tao and opens in a human soul! You can become the Gardener too!”

Blessed Are Pure in Heart!

Blessed Are Pure in Heart!

Vladimir Antonov

Translated from Russian by Mikhail Nikolenko

This article analyzes that part of the Teachings of Jesus which is dedicated to work with the spiritual heart. The precept of Jesus shown in the title is considered as very important for realization of His Teachings by us — in ourselves.

The article is addressed to everyone who wants to realize the Teachings of Jesus Christ.

In the Sermon on the Mount (Matt 5) there are several phrases of Jesus which are called the Beatitudes:

Blessed are the poor (i.e. those who have no possessions in the material world, who do not strive for material wealth) in spirit (more correct — by spirit, i.e. by one’s own decision, by one’s own will), for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven!

Blessed are those who mourn (i.e. those remorseful of their misdeeds which have ethical significance[1]), for they will be comforted!

Blessed are the meek (i.e. those devoid of haughtiness and ambitiousness), for they will inherit the earth!

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled!

Blessed are the merciful, for they will obtain mercy!

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God!

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called Sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven!

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake! Rejoice and be glad, for great is your reward in Heavens!

Now we will discuss one of these precepts, namely: “Blissful are the pure in heart, for they will see God!”, because it is especially important for realization of the Teachings of God by us.

What did Jesus say here? He said that God-the-Father and the Holy Spirit can be cognized and seen by people who have pure hearts.

*   *   *

What is pure heart?

And in general what one should understand by the term heart when speaking about the processes of spiritual growth?

Of course, it does not mean the anatomical physical heart.

The opinion that heart is an aggregate of all our instincts and emotions, including sexual attraction and passions, is also erroneous. The function of the spiritual heart is not related with sexual passions (strong egocentric, egoistic attractions) and even opposes them.

There is another amorphous and inadequate use of the word heart: the mind (one of the examples — Acts 5:3).

It is very sad that these inadequate uses became widely accepted in literature, including religious one, and even in some translations of the New Testament[2].

*   *   *

In order to understand what the spiritual heart is, we have to discuss briefly the bioenergetical structure of human organism (see more detail about this in [5]). It concerns chakras, first of all.

Inside the chest of human body, there is a bioenergetical organ called anahata chakra. This chakra is responsible for providing bioenergies through a network of bioenergetical channels (meridians) to the lungs, anatomical heart, and other organs located in the chest.

Anahata, as any other bioenergetical organ, is also a refexogenic zone of the emotional-volitional sphere (see more detail in [5]). It is anahata that is responsible for generating the entire spectrum of the emotions of love. By moving the concentration of the consciousness into this chakra, one changes the state of the consciousness to the state of love.[3]

By working with moving the concentration of the consciousness between the chakras and main meridians, one can easily learn to change volitionally and exactly one’s own emotional states and efficiency in work — both mental and physical. This is the basis of the system of psychical self-regulation, which was formed and described by us in our publications [5 and others].

In order to master the functions of anahata, one has to start with cleansing it, other chakras, and main meridians — from dark bioenergetical contaminations. Then one has to spread anahata inside the chest [5]. Spread in this way anahata occupies the volume of the chest from the collarbones to the beginning of the solar plexus.

Then one has to learn to look with the eyes of the soul from anahata; and then — to habituate oneself to stay with the concentration of the consciousness in anahata almost always: except for cases when one needs to act energetically on the material plane or to perform intensive intellectual work; in such cases one needs just to move the concentration of the consciousness into the chakra corresponding to the current situation.

He who have fully mastered this and have become firmly established in the anahatic state will for sure have a paradisiacal life after the death of the body. This achievement can be lost only if one violates the ethical principles suggested to us by God.

Let me explain: the ethical component of the Teachings of God is aimed first of all at helping people, who are ready to follow these Teachings, to master the state of love and to establish oneself in it. For this purpose God suggests that we:

— renounce the capability to kill (except for cases of absolute necessity, such as attacks of mosquitoes, ticks, and pathogens) other beings created by Him and incarnated for their development into material bodies,

— do not do to others what we do not want be done to ourselves,

— do not be haughty and arrogant,

— do not drink intoxicating drinks,

— do not be angry,

— do not be jealous,

— do not avenge,

— do not require back what was stolen from you…

And even give to the robber more than he wants to take from you, and to him who stroke you on one cheek turn another cheek also — but keep in these extreme situations the state of love! — and you will be in paradise then!

After all, paradise is the destiny of those who realized of the Teachings of God about love! And those who accustomed themselves to coarse emotional states and rejected the Teachings of God go to hell…

“God is Love” (1 John 4:8; 4:16). And — “Become closer to God!” (James 4:8). One can become closer to Him only by transforming oneself into Love. And it is possible to do only through full realization of His precept which we discuss here.

Apostle James expressed the same idea in other words (James 4:8): “Purify your hearts!”

*   *   *

So one can begin this path of transformation of oneself into Love with mastering one’s own chakra anahata, including cleansing it of energetical contaminations which are caused first of all by one’s own past misdeeds — by allowing oneself to enter coarse emotional states. One has to learn to live almost constantly in anahatic state and never allow oneself to enter coarse states of the consciousness. In this way one gets rid of the “hardenedness” (Mark 6:52) of the potential germ of the spiritual heart.

Only after mastering everything said above, the development of the spiritual heart can begin. And then even more — one can begin develop oneself as a spiritual heart.

*   *   *

One of the features of the chakras is that the consciousness (soul), having settled in a certain chakra, can grow in size and enlarge this chakra, and then the consciousness can expand from this chakra.

It is very adverse if this happens to the chakras inclined to coarse states — manipura (the upper half of the abdomen including the solar plexus) and ajna (the middle of the head). People who allowed this complex of chakras to become dominant are almost always irritated, angry, aggressive, hot tempered; their destiny is hell: “the outer darkness where there are weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matt 8:12); these people oppose — by the quality of souls — God, Who is Love!

People of the anahatic psychotype are those who become closer to the state of God.

Moreover, if such people possess necessary knowledge, they can accelerate significantly their further spiritual growth, mastering next stages of the spiritual ascent.

After all, the soul can transform not only qualititatively but also quantitatively, that is to grow.

*   *   *

The spiritual heart is that part of the soul which first grows inside the cleansed chakra anahata if we observe everything said above.

But then the spiritual heart can begin to grow intensively outside the material body.[4] And the possibilities of such growth are infinite! An aid in realization of this task can be ecopsychological methods described in our book [5] and demonstrated in our corresponding films (see www.spiritual-art.info). With their help one can grow oneself — as a spiritual heart — to a size much larger than the size of our planet.

Also I should note that a developed consciousness residing far outside the body possesses the fullness of thinking. And it can easily move in multidimensional space with the help of the arms of the consciousness which grow from the spiritual heart and are coessential to it. (The same remains true after the death of the body). And one’s closeness to the Primordial Consciousness (God-the-Father, the Creator) and direct communication with Him increases even more the competency of such an adept in everything most important for incarnated people.

It is inside the spiritual heart developed so much, in its multidimensional depth that the spiritual adept receives the possibility to explore easily the multidimensional structure of the Absolute and to come closer and closer to the Abode of the Creator — to the most subtlest spatial dimension.

And then such an adept is accepted by the Creator into Himself provided he or she deserves it.

This is a brief description of the Path of full spiritual self-realization of man. You may find detailed information about how to walk this Path in our books and films.

*   *   *

And let us remember: “Where your treasure is there your heart will be also!” (Matt 6:21; Luke 12:34).

If we chose the Creator as our Treasure and aspire to cognition of Him and Mergence with Him in the Embrace of His Love — then we may find our Abode in Him.

But if our treasure is something earthly, then we will remain with this earthly.

And some people choose hellish entertainments as their treasure…

But God suggests: “Love your God with all your heart!” (Luke 10:27; Mark 12:30).

And it is up to us to choose the path: the Creator granted us the freedom of will. He watches every one of us and forms our destinies which are realized then by the Holy Spirits.

*   *   *

“Be perfect even as your Heavenly Father is perfect!” — taught Jesus Christ (Matt 5:48).

How? — Jesus also gave answer to this question: “Learn from Me!” (Matt 11:29). Learn through the words said by Me and written down by My Disciples, and by studying My Divine Essence, by aspiring to become like Me; also by accepting the Holy Spirits as your Guides Who will teach you the same things which I taught and teach now (John 14:26; 15:26; Mark 3:29).[5]

And today Jesus is willing to help and helps everyone who walks the Path shown by Him![6]

[1] Yet, one should not do it too long: having learned — with the help of repentance — not to sin, we have to advance further on the spiritual Path in the state of positive emotions; otherwise we cannot succeed.

[2] For example, in translation of the prayer-meditation Our Father (Lord's Prayer) it is not made clear that by “daily bread” Jesus meant not material food but higher spiritual knowledge, spiritual guidance which we should ask from God. This flaw resulted in masses of people, who consider themselves Christians, engaged in panhandling from God — instead of realizing His Teachings, which suggests that we strive for spiritual Perfection (Matt 5:48).

Also the term “poor in spirit” does not mean feebleminded panhandlers-parasites, as it is usually interpreted, but spiritual warriors who renounced seeking worldly wealth  — for the sake of realizing the true meaning of life in accordance with the Teachings of God.

Also in the translation of the New Testament, there are expressions “my (his, her) soul”. This implies that man is a body in which some strange “soul” lives and this “soul” abandons man at the moment of death. Some people even develop opinions that one can “lose soul”, “steal soul”. But in reality, every man is an evolving soul, which enters a material body for a time in order to continue self-development. Therefore, one cannot “lose soul”; one can only “lose body”…

In the translation of the Epistles of Apostle Paul there are expressions seemingly meaningless. There Paul described meditative methods taught by Jesus, but the translators could not understand them due to their incompetence…

What Is Truth?

What Is Truth?

Vladimir Antonov

Translated from Russian by Mikhail Nikolenko

This question implies a serious philosophical answer about the most important things in our existence: what is the essence of the Universe, what is the meaning of our lives on the Earth and what is the best way to fulfill this meaning?

The most laconic answer is the following:

There is an ongoing Evolution in the Universal Organism of the Absolute. And every one of us should ‘blend’ with this process most harmoniously.

For this purpose we need:

— To become sufficiently large, mobile, and strong consciousnesses (souls) — so as to gain the ability to move from one spatial dimension to another along the entire multidimensional scale, to cognize personally this multidimensional structure of the Absolute — from the boundary with hell up to the Abode of the Creator.

— To learn to reside firmly in the highest spatial dimension: in the Abode of the Creator — in Mergence with Him.

— To habituate ourselves to the state of Mergence, Coessentiality with the Creator, and then to develop the ability to be one with the entire Absolute.

From these highest states one can participate in the Evolutionary Process most successfully, on the Highest Level of competence; in particular, one can help incarnated people in their spiritual development.

After disincarnation, such Perfect Individualities become Holy Spirits. And if They incarnate again by Their Will among people — They become Divine Messiahs, Avatars.

However even those who have not achieved yet the highest stages of spiritual advancement can find for themselves good work on the Earth — not only in personal development but also in service, which consists in participation in the Evolutionary Process.

And let everyone think: how can I serve others, how can I be useful to others?

Even taking care about plants and animals, providing other people with food, clothing, dwelling, giving birth to children and upbringing them, etc — all this is also necessary. There are many other possibilities as well. And let the main principle of making choice here be the following:

To help everyone in everything good and to try to harm no one as possible: by deeds, words, and even by thoughts or emotions.

* * *

And now let us to talk about this in more detail. Even among religiously thinking people it is hard to find those who understand the meaning of the word Absolute. And there are very few who know the mechanisms of correct growth of the consciousness, say nothing of knowing about moving from one spatial dimension to another and about cognition of the Creator in His Abode!

We discussed these questions many times in our books and films-lectures (see a list of most important of them at the end of this text and on the site www.spiritual-art.info); here I am going to describe it briefly.

So, what is God?

This word means, first of all, the Creator (He is called also God-the-Father, Jehovah, Allah, Ishvara, Tao, Primordial Consciousness, Adibuddha, Svarog, and by other names in different languages). The Creator is not an old man sitting on a cloud, as He is depicted sometimes, but an infinite in size and time Ocean of Subtlest Primordial Consciousness abiding in the highest spatial dimension.

By the word God people call also Representatives of the Creator coessential to Him — incarnated and non-incarnated. Such non-incarnated Representatives of the Creator are called Holy Spirits; in aggregate They are called the Holy Spirit (that is, this term has so-called collective meaning).

It is important to understand that the Creator and His Creation compose One Multidimensional Universal Organism. It is the Absolute, that is ‘Absolutely Everything’.

The Absolute undergoes constant, unceasing development, Evolution. It is for the sake of this process that the Creator creates islets of matter in His Ocean — planets where units of consciousness (individual souls) evolve through consecutive incarnations into material bodies of plants, animals, people. The ultimate goal of their development is to achieve (through human incarnations) Perfection and Mergence with the Creator.

From the above said it must be clear that man is not a body, contrary to what many people believe. Man is a soul, consciousness that incarnates for a time into material bodies for the sake of going through the next stage of its development.

Every one of us possesses freedom of will — our right to take decisions in many small or large life situations, which affects our further destinies. (That is we build our destinies ourselves. And the Holy Spirits — our Divine Tutors and Teachers — realize these destinies.) The process of destiny formation in dependence to ethically important decisions made by us has to be studied by the direction of science called ethics. Ethics has to be considered as an integral part of ecology — the science about relationships of an organism with its environment. And the latter includes not only the world of material objects but also non-material forms of life with all non-incarnated beings and God.

What has to be the goal of our aspirations and deeds on the Earth (apart from fulfilling most basic needs of life of ours and of our closest companions)?

It is clear that our bodies have to be healthy. For this purpose it is useful to have medical knowledge, in particular to know hygienic rules; also from childhood one has to temper the organism, to develop strength, endurance. It is also important to adhere to killing-free diet: feeding on bodies of killed animals results in contamination of the organism with coarse bioenergies; it contradicts also the principle of LOVE given to us by God. (However, our killing-free diet has to be rich with protein food: milk products, mushrooms, nuts, etc… More details in [4]).

It is also very important to understand that one cannot achieve significant success on the spiritual Path without a developed intellect. People who have no developed intellect are not capable of comprehending what we discuss here! Even if they become believers, their religiosity — if they do not come in the beginning to a sound religious environment — is reduced to worshiping material objects (various idols, etc.), to mystical fear of warlocks, vampires, the end of the world; this leads to schizophrenia, to coarsening of the consciousness and as a result to hell…

… One can advance toward the Creator only through the refinement of the consciousness and development of love in oneself. Only developed love directed at the Creator can help one to approach and merge with Him!

Therefore it is very important to take care that children receive good education, and as they grow up the process of their intellectual development does not stop! Let the task of choosing profession and working place also help them in this!

For every person it is useful to strive to comprehend more deeply the principles of righteous life on the Earth suggested to us by God. The main one of them is the principle of LOVE. [4,5, and others]

One cannot achieve ethical perfection without working with the reflexogenic zones of emotional-volitional sphere — chakras and some main meridians.

God is Love — He said these words for us. Yet it is wrong to interpret this statement as ‘God will forgive all our sins’. No it has nothing to do with this. This statement means that we can realize our aspiration for the Creator, aspiration for mergence with Him only through striving to become similar to Him, striving to become LOVE!

LOVE is an aggregate of corresponding emotional states. And it is desirable that every one of us habituates oneself to living in these states. As for coarse states of the consciousness, which program us to hell, — let they become so foreign to us that in no case we can enter them! Let me repeat that it becomes real for those who use the above mentioned system of training in psychical self-regulation [4].

… So let anahata become the main chakra for us. It is in this chakra that the most important part of human being — spiritual heart — begins its growth. Let us learn to live in this chakra: to look, to listen, to perceive the outer world from it, to speak, to take decisions from this chakra.

In this way gradually we become spiritual hearts — and then begin to grow outside the body. With time in the process of this growth we become spiritual hearts comparable in size to our planet and then even larger. The growing spiritual heart has to possess developed arms of the consciousness coessential to the spiritual heart. With the hands of this arms we can caress, stroke, heal…

The consciousness developed in this way accepts the function of thinking — outside of the material body.

Refusal of course emotional states and cultivation of the emotions of subtle tender LOVE — together with the quantitative growth of oneself as a spiritual heart — this gives us the ability to perceive (to see, to hear, to embrace) Holy Spirits, Who become our real spiritual Teachers. Entering with the consciousness into Their giant forms (forms of Consciousnesses) allows us to begin mastering Mergence with Them. And then — They will lead Their deserving disciples into the Abode of the Creator.

* * *

Of course one cannot achieve this quickly, immediately: the highest spiritual stages can be mastered only if one dedicates the whole life to God — to developing oneself for the sake of merging with Him and serving Him.

I understand also that some people can hardly believe that everything written here is real; it can happen to those who have not started yet serious work on perfecting themselves on the spiritual Path. However, by using the methods of self-development described in our books and demonstrated in our films one can make it real.

Let me note also that knowledge presented here is not new. The same was taught — though in other words — by Thoth-the-Atlantean, Hermes Trismegistus, Pythagoras, Krishna, Lao Tse, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ, Babaji from Haidakhan, Sathya Sai Baba, and other Great Teachers [5]. It has been always taught by God! In our works we present just an integration of this knowledge and a detailed description of how one can traverse the spiritual Path and come to the spiritual heights which were demonstrated many times by Messengers of the Creator.

In conclusion let me stress again that the main direction of self-development on this Path is the development of the spiritual heart. All serious spiritual achievements are gained only through this!

… This is in brief the scheme of full spiritual self-realization of man, a straight and shortest Path to the Creator. Let us walk this Path — and soon our lives will be filled with the joy of communication with God in blissful calm, without diseases and other calamities and suffering!

I wish you success!

Spiritual Poetry

For each poem, unrhymed literal translation from Russian is accompanied by original Russian poetic version.

It will be of help for those who study Russian.

Translated from Russian by Mikhail Nikolenko

My Spring Is in You!

Jeremy

I keep on My palms the spring —

Rivers, mountains, forests, and lakes…

I create on the Earth the spring

For everyone and for you!

On the fields around the snow is melting…

Birds of passage are coming home…

Soft-pink light rising over the ground —

Let this beautiful dawn be yours!

Every seed — a small drop of life —

Waking from its sleep day by day…

With every seed growing from the ground

The springis rising and coming up!

One Primordial translucent Stream

Comes from the Depths of Existence by Me!

I enter the hearts where I sowed Love,

I enter — and thus God is born!

Blissfull Calm

Eternity…

Calm…

Infinity…

And Sun…

I am submerging in the gentle coolness of morning,

In the singing of birds…

Their subtlest trill

Reaches the innermost parts of my heart.

My heart is singing with them

And thawing…

Dew-drops,

String of spider's web,

Sparkling so bright in the rays of sunlight…

And dissolving in Love Revelations,

In ultimate bliss

Playing and thawing…

Mist above ground

With soft languor,

With light veil,

Hiding from sight

Tiny bits of life, that have just awakened

And smiled at you with a lively caress…

In silence…

And in depth…

Disappearing…

With Eternal Peace…

Filling yourself,

You can hear the steps of God,

His voice full of Love,

Touch of His hand,

Hardly felt…

At the instant like this,

Vanish all doubts!

             Sail

       Odin (White Finn)

The sail of living heart
Which is blown with love —
The sail of spiritual heart
Calls to set off on the Path!

He spread the canvas of life
To the Winds which have known the  Freedom,
He chose not a safe harbor
But waves under the shining sun…

He chose singing of wind in the ropes,
And utmost exertion of will,
He chose struggle and victory,
He chose severe destiny!…

Gliding on the crest of the wave,
He become one with the waves!
Flying on the wings of the heart —
He embraced the entire expanse!

Waters taught to him
Their soft and transparent calm,
The sun whitened him
With its effulgent shining.

Carried by the Great Wind,
He lived on the breast of the Ocean,
He embraced with his heart all the Earth,
All islands and far lands!

As a free soul, he merged
With the One Soul of the Ocean!
The love which dwelled in his heart
Became the infinity of Life!

The sail of living heart
Which is blown with love —
The sail of spiritual heart
Calls to set off on the Path!

THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST

Excerpts from the book by Vladimir Antonov

The Original Teachings of Jesus Christ

Love

“God is Love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.” (1 John 4:16).

“Owe no one anything, except to love one another” (Rom 13:8).

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I have become as sounding brass… And though I have prophecies, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so as to move mountains, and do not have love, I am nothing. And though I give out all my goods to feed the poor, and though I deliver my body to be burned, and have not love, I am profited nothing.

“Love has patience, is kind; love is not envious, is not vain, is not puffed up; does not behave indecently, does not seek her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil. Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth. Love quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails, though prophecies will be abolished and tongues will cease…” (1 Cor 13:1-8).      >>>

The  Gospel of Philip

Edition and commentaries by Vladimir Antonov

(Excerpts from the book)

*  *  *

45. Faith receives. Love gives.

One must not receive without faith. One must not give without love.

Therefore, in order to receive, we believe, and in order to give truly, we love.

But if one gives without love, he does not benefit from such giving.

*  *  *

 48. A pearl, even if it is cast down into the mud, is not despised. And if one covers it with balsam, it does not become more valuable. But it is always valuable to its owner.

It is the same with the Sons of God: wherever They may be, They are still of value to Their Father.

*  *  *

52. A donkey, walking around a millstone, has walked hundred miles.

When it was untethered, it remained at the same place.

There are men who walk much, but advance nowhere. And when evening comes for them, they have seen neither city nor village to which they were going, they have cognized neither the nature of the Creation nor the Power (i.e. God-the-Father), nor even angels. Futile was the work of these miserable.

The efforts can give good fruits only if the Goal and the methods of its cognition are clear. Or it is necessary to take the hand of the Teacher and hold to it tight. (The Teacher can be only the One Who is capable of leading to the Goal and Who knows It well).

*  *  *

64. There are people who neither desire nor can work (on self-improvement).

Others desire but do not do this. And therefore, they do not benefit from such a desire. This only makes them sinners.

And if they can, but not desire, they will get their own for justice: both for the lack of desire and for the lack of deeds.

*  *  *

110. The one who cognized the Truth is free. The free one does not commit sin: because he who commits sin becomes a slave of sin (i.e. first of all, burdens his destiny).

The true knowledge is like mother and father (i.e. like wise teachers, advisers, and guardians of their child).

Those who are not capable of sinning are said that they have attained freedom. The knowledge of the Truth raises them even more. This makes them both free and above this world.

But only Love creates. He who became free thanks to knowledge, because of Love remains a slave of those who have not managed to attain the Freedom of knowledge yet. He brings the knowledge to them and this develops the latter because it calls them to the Freedom.

Love takes nothing: how can it take something? Everything belongs to it. It does not say, “This is mine! And this is mine!” But it says: “This is yours!”

*  *  *

123. The beginning of this fragment is damaged in the original text.

… Abraham in order to perceive the One Whom he had to perceive performed circumcision of the foreskin, showing by this (symbolically) that we should rid ourselves of the fleshly — that which is of this world.

Then the original text is damaged partly.

… As long as the intestines of man’s body are hidden, it is alive. But if the intestines are uncovered and fall out, it dies.

It is the same is with a tree: while its roots are hidden, it blossoms and grows. If its roots are uncovered, it withers.

It is the same is with any phenomenon in the world, not only in the material but also in the hidden one. Thus, as long as the root of evil is hidden it grows and is strong. When it gets known, it begins to bloom. But if its root is uncovered, it perishes.

Therefore, Logos says, “Already the axe lies at the roots of trees! If it does not cut up completely, that which was cut will grow again. Hence, it is necessary to drive the axe deep enough so that it tears out the roots.”

And Jesus destroyed those roots in the place where He worked. And He also did this partially in other places.

As for all of us, let each one cut into the roots of evil, which is within him, and tear out evil with its roots from the soul!

We can tear evil out only if we know it. If we are ignorant of it, it will continue to grow its roots in us and multiply itself in our souls. Then it will get complete control over us, we will become its slaves. It will enslave us more and more, forcing us to do that which we do not want to do and forcing not to do that which we want to do… It is very powerful until we know about it in ourselves!

While it exists, it acts. Ignorance of it is the mother of evil in us. Ignorance will lead us to death. And those who have not become free from ignorance have not existed yet as (true) people, are not existing, and will not exist!

Those who are in the true knowledge fill themselves with the Perfection as the Truth reveals Itself to them.

For the Truth, even as ignorance, — while it is hidden, it rests in itself; but when it is revealed and is recognized, it blooms, being praised.

How much more powerful it is than ignorance and errors! It gives the Freedom!

Logos said, “If you know the Truth, it will make you free”.

Ignorance is slavery. Knowledge is Freedom.

Seeking the Truth, we find its seeds in ourselves.

If we unite with It, It will receive us in the Primordial Consciousness.

Philip discusses the mechanism of repentance and insists on the necessity of paying serious attention to the intellectual work.

Repentance is purification of oneself from vices. Two foundations of all our vices are the following:

1. The ability to cause deliberately suffering to other beings (for example, just by “distressing” them); by doing this we manifest our egoism, the “I”, and lack of developed love in ourselves. With the hypertrophied “I” and without developed love, one cannot really approach the Father.

2. The absence of permanent orientation of the attention to the Father, absence of aspiration to Him.

In connection with this, let us discuss faith. Faith as simple “yes” as an answer to the question “do you believe?” — is too little. The true faith is indeed permanent and unshakeable remembering about God-Teacher, Who teaches me all the time; it is especially important to remember about this at the moments of critical situations, which are also His lessons for us. The thing which brings one to such a level of faith is big and long intellectual work in interaction with Him.

Only thanks to such efforts of spiritual warriors, God becomes for them a Living Reality, and not just a symbol, an abstraction which you are supposed to worship. Thus the faith turns into knowledge about Him.

On the highest level of its development, the faith changes — necessarily through the stage of knowledge about Him, knowledge of Him — into passionate Love, which alone can help one to become close to Him and then to enter His Abode and merge with Him.

… Penitential work is not just listing aloud in front of a “father” all your true and imaginary deeds-sins. Penitential work is studying of oneself as a soul and transforming oneself by introspection and self-education. It is necessary to notice that “sins” are not the main things with which we should struggle: they are just manifestations of qualities of the soul which are called vices. Thus, to struggle with the help of the axe about which Jesus and Philip told, is necessary against vices. And this struggle can be deployed in full strength only after realizing God — as a Living Teacher.

… The result of the entire work on purification and development of oneself is birth and maturing in the highest eons. As this happens, all the material, fleshly become less and less significant and then is “cut off” completely (at what Abraham hinted by his circumcision).

Then only He remains.

 Parable from Apostle Andrew

Written down by Anna Zubkova in November 2007.

Edited by Vladimir Antonov.

Translated from Russian by Svetlana Eremina.

Parable about the Prophet

Jesus said: ‘He came, but not many recognized Him…
He spoke, but not many heard Him…
He taught, but not many fulfilled His Teachings…’

From the memories of Apostle Andrew

A Man, sent by God-the-Father, came to the Earth.

And He saw that people wallowed in sins, that vices had multiplied in the souls, that good manners had been forgotten…

And the Man saw that the Teachings about Divine Laws had been forgotten, and the knowledge about essence of the Scriptures created by God had been lost.

As one covers with beautiful clothes the dirt and ugliness of the body, even so people can try to cover the vices of souls with the words from the Scriptures, which are spoken but not fulfilled.

Everyone speaks about the Law; everyone teaches about the Law… Yet, they merely say words… but do not fulfill even what they say…

People do not see the Light and do not know that they live in the darkness…

The Man did not know how to change what He saw… For He knew if He started to speak, His speeches would be lost among the false speeches of those who spoke about the Law but did not know it and did not fulfill it…

And then the Man took off His clothes and went to the desert… And He lived in the desert… and listened to God, and God spoke to Him.

And a rumor spread about the Prophet who lived in the desert and listened to God but was always silent.

And people started to come to see that Man and wondered at Him…

They began asking Him questions and waited who of them receives the answer.

One man came and asked:

‘What harvest will we get this year?’

Another man came and asked:

‘When will my son get married?’

And many others came and asked:

‘When will my daughter-in-law give birth?’, ‘How can I multiply my treasures and protect them?’, ‘How can I make a maid love me and marry me?’…

The Prophet kept silence. The words, which He wanted to tell people, were burning His mouth; His heart was overfilled with God’s Love. He kept silence for ten years…

The rumor about Him spread wide, and more people were coming to see Him. People wondered because all prophets had said a lot, but this one… had said nothing!

The Prophet kept silence. The words, which He wanted to tell people, were burning His mouth; His heart was overfilled with God’s Love. And He kept silence for other ten years.

And His silence attracted people more than the speeches of others…

Once, a young man came to Him. He did not want to get any profit from the answer to his question. He simply asked: ‘What word is hidden behind Your silence?’

And then the Prophet said, ‘Purify yourselves!’

And people began to come to Him to be purified from their sins.

One man said, ‘I was angry yesterday! Purify me!’

And another said, ‘I cheated in trading telling a lie! Purify me!’

And the third said, ‘I was proud and indulged in vanity! Purify me!’

The Prophet kept silence. The same people would come again and again; they repented of the same sins and went home to sin again…

The Prophet kept silence…

‘Why do not You want to purify us?’, the people asked.

The Prophet answered, ‘Purification won’t come until repentance cleans out the vice of the soul, so that a similar sin be not possible from that moment on!’

And again the Prophet kept silence…

There was only the River of Living Light. All thoughts and deeds were visible in Its Flow. The Prophet stood in the River of Living Light and waited for those who would come to be purified… The River was flowing, and time was passing…

And people listened to His silence, the silence of the Soul. And there were those who understood Him. And they came to be purified.

The fire of shame for their sins was burning them. They could not rise their eyes and were ashamed to speak. The fire of shame was burning them — and this fire burned away the vices of souls washed by repentance.

And then these souls were purified and washed by the River of Light.

The Prophet washed with pure water those who came to receive the purification. And there was no sign of condemnation in His eyes.

The River of the Sacred Light was flowing, and people entered Its Waters and were purified from vices, so that not to sin anymore!

And the Prophet said, ‘It is impossible to abandon all vices of the soul at once. Stay and learn how to purify yourselves! All bad qualities of the soul must be washed away and replaced with love — with a flow of giving love! And you need to grow the Light of Love in yourself!»

And the Prophet said, ‘I am baptizing you with the Waters of the Flow so that you could receive the Baptism of the Fire of the Father! The One Who will come after Me will bring the Fire of Divine Love to the Earth! Only if you receive purification of the soul before His coming, you will be able to cognize the Divine Fire!’

Thus taught the Prophet called by people John.

Parable about Non-Burning Flame

Jesus said: “There is Non-Burning Flame! It is the Power of My Father!»

From the memories of Apostle Andrew

There was a man and he was kind. He wanted to help people who lived in troubles and grief, poverty and illnesses… Нe sought ways to help them transform their hard and dull life but could not find such means…

That kind man learned that there was Non-Burning Flame. This Flame is similar to the flame of a fire and yet is different: because Great Power is contained in It. This Flame is brighter than the light of the sun, and yet does not burn anyone. And whatever you wish can be fulfilled by this Great Power…

… Once the kind man heard that a Great Teacher came to the Earth from God-the-Father, and that in this Teacher there was Non-Burning Divine Flame.

And what this Teacher said was fulfilled. He touched a blind and said: “See!”, and the blind began to see… He touched a lame and said: ‘Rise and go!’, and the lame rose and went… He was endowed with the Great Power to raise the dead and to heal the sick. This Teacher knew the secrets of life and the secrets of death. He preached the Knowledge from God-the-Father about how people should live on the Earth.

The kind man decided to find this Teacher and to learn how one could acquire the Power of Non-Burning Flame in order to help people who lived in suffering and misery.

He traveled for a long time, and his Purpose guided him. And finally he found the Teacher.

And the kind man saw the Teacher walking and the Non-Burning Flame shining in Him! The kind man looked closely, his eyes blinked, and there was no Flame… He looked again, and again he saw the Bright Flame in the Teacher.

The Teacher wore simple clothes. And He spoke simple words as if He was not a Great Messiah at all!

But the Light of Love was streaming from His eyes. He spoke softly, but every His word touched the heart and was remembered by the soul.

And the kind man went together with the human crowd which followed the Teacher. The kind man listened to His speeches and saw how He healed and spoke to the cured: “Go and don’t sin any more!”

And once the kind man decided to ask the Teacher to give him the Non-Burning Flame so that he also could heal the lame, recover the sight of the blind, raise the dead, so that human sorrows go away! …

And the Teacher answered him: “Here is the Flame! Take it!” But the kind man could not take it, for he did not know how? And then he decided to stay with the Teacher and to follow Him with few other disciples. And he learned from the Teacher for many years…

Time was passing… And the kind man began to see the entire Sea of Shining Flame. But could not take It…

And the Teacher told him: “Only he can carry this Flame who himself became It! Only human heart can contain the Sea of Non-Burning Flame! Only Transfigured Man can become a source of Divine Flame on the Earth!

“But this Flame exists not for healing bodies and returning souls to flesh. These miraculous healings are but Signs of the Power of the Heavenly Father, so that people know whose Flame shines and whose Will creates!

“Bodies are not eternal! They are like clothes that the soul puts on when it comes to the Earth. And it takes them off when comes back to life without a body, and gets new clothes when it comes to the Earth again and again… This continues until the soul, having taken off the clothes, becomes so pure and beautiful that deserves to enter the Abode of the Heavenly Father, which means that the soul has become the Light of Love identical to the Light of the Father!

“The Non-Burning Flame shines on the Earth so that people can see the Light and want to transform themselves! The Non-Burning Flame shines so that they may know how this transformation happens: the love of the heart becomes that Light which is the Path to the Father!”

And the kind man understood that it is not the body that should be healed but the soul, so that those who do not see the Light of the Father can see it; so that those who are paralyzed by vices and weaknesses can stand up and enter on the Path, which transforms souls and leads to God-the-Father!

For a long time the kind man developed Love, Wisdom, and Power, so that his spiritual heart can carry the Non-Burning Flame!…

… And one day the heart of the kind man became filled with the Divine Non-Burning Flame! For the only vessel on the Earth in which Divine Flame can exist is the heart transformed by Love!

… And now the kind Man was walking the earth, and the Non-Burning Flame was shining in Him. And He sought hearts which were ready to receive that Flame …

And a rumor was spreading that there was a Teacher sent by God-the-Father to the Earth. This Teacher knew the secrets of life and the secrets of death, and He preached the Knowledge from the God-the-Father about how people should live on the Earth…

More parables will be added.

Psychic Self-Regulation and Spiritual Growth

Posted on Feb 7th, 2008 by Spiritual Heart : Divine Way of Spiritual Heart Spiritual Heart

Forest
Lecture by Vladimir Antonov

Many people suffer of failures in the material world, of illnesses… This results in depressions, neuroses, other kinds of psychic disorders… Many of them become alcoholics, drug addicts, criminals, commit suicide …

There are two main reasons for this problem: first, people do not understand the meaning of their lives, and second, they have no knowledge about how they can change themselves in order to overcome successfully the difficulties which we unavoidably encounter on our life path.

We discussed in detail the philosophical-religious aspect of this subject in our books Classics of Spiritual Philosophy and the Present, Ecopsychology, Forest Lectures. I assure you that it is not possible to achieve stable success in mastering psychic harmony and true happiness in life without including God in one’s outlook, also without serious work on bringing one’s ethical sphere in accordance with what God expects from us. And it would be most correct to begin the process of self-transformation with studying the true picture of life in the Absolute and with understanding one’s own place and tasks in It; only in this case one can become convinced in the necessity of making personal efforts on transforming oneself.

Unfortunately… many people raised in the atheistic environment or those influenced by false religious views become incapable of comprehending and accepting the true knowledge about the existence of God; the knowledge which implies not the practice of begging God or seeking “salvation” through certain forms of ritualism — but active creative work on perfecting oneself as a soul, consciousness. It is this work that God expects from us!

* * *

Our experience of teaching the art of psychic self-regulation in Russia, in the time of Communist Party governing when it was forbidden to talk about God, demonstrated that in the process of such classes almost all students without suggestions of the instructor began to feel the presence of God, to cognize themselves not as physical bodies but as souls incarnated in bodies. And then, quite naturally, they began conscious search for religious-philosophical truths.

It is for the sake of such people that I am writing now — for the sake of those who need first the proof — and only then they are ready to accept the Truth: to accept it not as BELEIF but as KNOWLEDGE.

But in order to receive this KNOWLEDGE one has to make personal efforts on transforming oneself.

Let us try transforming ourselves! Let our goals in the beginning be achievement of harmonious existence among other people, good health, experience of true happiness!

Let us begin with this! Let us acquire such experience by applying to ourselves the knowledge which was very useful for many people before!

Chakras and Psychic Self-Regulation

The only way of mastering the art of psychic self-regulation is to gain control over the functions of the chakras.

Detailed knowledge about the chakras, their functions, and possibilities of work with them is presented in our book Ecopsychology. Now let me tell briefly only about those points which are important for our present conversation.

… In total there are seven chakras. Every one of us has them — in the head, in the neck, in the trunk.

Every chakra is responsible, among other things, for supplying with bioenergies those organs of the body which belong to the sphere of influence of that chakra. If the chakra is contaminated with coarse energies, this may result in chronic diseases of the corresponding organs. By cleansing the chakra with the help of the methods described in the book mentioned above, one can cure such illnesses.

But the more important point is that every chakra participates in producing certain psychic states.

For example, the two head chakras are responsible for the thinking function, the neck chakra — for the emotional evaluation of situations perceived by us; the thorax chakra, located at the place of the heart and lungs, — for generation of the entire spectrum of the emotions of love; the chakra of the upper part of the abdomen — for vigor; the chakra of the lower part of the abdomen is responsible for the reproductive function; and the lowest chakra located at the level of the coccyx and share bone is responsible for the link with the energy of kundalini.

It is important to know that the chakra ajna, located in the center of the head, is the source of many human afflictions. Even its name in Sanskrit means “non-wise”, or “fool” bluntly speaking.

This chakra, as all others, is necessary, and ideally it must be cleansed and developed. Yet one must not allow it to dominate! Because it gives birth to egocentric emotions and makes its owner an egocentric person.

Such a person is egotistic, jealous, touchy or quick-tempered… Some of such people, having broke, become ever complaining neurasthenics, drunkards, commit suicide.

As angry dogs guard their kennels and bark from inside them at everyone — even so such people guard their selves, always provoking conflicts with others. They perceive this way of behaving as a norm; they believe that all people behave so, and that the essence of life consists in mutual struggle between individual egos. They can even justify such a way of life with the motto “struggle for existence“…

If such ajnic features are supplemented with hyperactivity of the chakra of the upper part of the abdomen — then this forms the ajnic-manipura psychotype. Its most bright manifestation is people who are ever discontent with everything and everyone, irritated and aggressive. They are called also aggressive primitives. One of their characteristic features is disposition to drinking. In this way they “settle their nerves”. It is the representatives of this psychotype that are most inclined to committing all kinds of selfish crimes and to aggressive actions against other people, quite often due to drunkenness.

Anahatic Psychotype

I am not going to continue describing other psychotypes because we discussed this subject in detail in the book Ecopsychology. Let me just note that there is a psychotype opposite of that described above — the anahatic psychotype. People of this psychotype are treasures in human society! They are souls most promising from the evolutionary standpoint!

They may suffer from attacks of aggressive primitives, but they are those who have entered on the spiritual Path already (they may just stand on this Path, but it is better to walk it!).

… God is Love; this truth was taught by Jesus Christ and by all other Divine Teachers.

The only way to become closer to God (what many believers dream about) is by gradually becoming similar to Him. And one has to become similar to Him in the aspect of love, first of all.

The knowledge about the chakras provides necessary details about how one can gain and develop in oneself this main quality of God. The emotions of tender love, care, admiration and respect for wisdom, also love-aspiration to the Creator — all these emotional states are born and sustained in the special emotiogenic structure of the organism — in the chakra anahata. It is in this chakra that the special part of the consciousness, called the spiritual heart, is formed and continues its development.

Only by developing oneself as a spiritual heart, one can gain true spiritual power and approach the direct personal cognition of the Creator and Mergence with Him.

By the way, this is the answer to the question raised by a number of people: is it good to have a developed anahata but suffer attacks from malicious primitive people? Isn’t it better to develop coarse power in oneself with the help of the methods of black magic or through “gladiatorial” kinds of sport, where usually most coarse and aggressive people achieve success?

I can answer that everyone has a right to make their choice — the right given to us by God. Yet one has to reflect first on the consequences of the choice. The destiny of those who preserve or even develop such coarseness in themselves is hell!

And the perspective of those who develop themselves as spiritual hearts, as love — is paradise or even higher abodes!

After the death of the body, we abide in those states of consciousness to which we accustomed ourselves during the life in the body.

Those who are accustomed themselves to various manifestations of malice — will continue to live in these emotional states among other souls similar to them. This is what hell is. (By the way isn’t it appropriate to revise our attitude to those kinds of sports where such qualities are encouraged and developed intentionally? I am sure that sport must exalt the Beauty rather than confrontation between people, aggressiveness, violence, cruelty!)

Those used to live in the state of tender and caring love will also continue to live in these states among other people similar to them. This is paradise.

One attains paradise or hell not due to belonging to certain religious organization, not due performing certain deeds — but as a result of correct or wrong evolutionary advancement of the soul: to the Creator — or from Him.

It is easy to understand for any reasonable person…

* * *

So what should we do if we value the principle of Love, believe in the existence of God, but do not want to be weak?

The answer to this question must be clear to you now: we have to become more and more close to the Creator, to grow ourselves more and more as spiritual hearts. It is in this way that we gain true spiritual power and the invulnerability in relationships with incarnate and non-incarnate beings of hell.

Yes, an incarnate soul possesses the ability to change not only qualitatively by abandoning one qualities and gaining, developing others. A soul can also grow quantitatively. We have the possibility to grow as spiritual hearts — first inside the thorax of the material body and then outside it —to the sizes of several meters, then — kilometers, then thousands of kilometers… And having grown to such sizes, having acquired much experience, the soul then can infuse itself into the Creator and enrich Him thus.

This constitutes the meaning of our lives: to develop oneself to the extent when one becomes worthy of approaching the Abode of the Creator in the multidimensional universe — and to merge into Him. He receives in Himself only those who became Love as He is. There are no other possibilities of cognition of Him.

And what will happen to us once we begin to transform ourselves in this way? What changes will happen quite soon, not in the distant future?

The first and the most important thing is that you will become capable of feeling, experiencing the state of love. It will be not short periods of emotional upliftment but stable state of benevolence and calm. The unpleasant emotions of dislike, hatred, irritation, fear, envy, impatience will go away. The illnesses caused by dominant negative emotions will be healed too. The energy field of the organism will change as well: it will be pleasant for people to communicate with you; you will improve your relationships with those with whom you had no friendship before; and you will find new sincere friends. Possessing true spiritual experience, you will have knowledge to share with others. In this way you will find companions in your spiritual quest.

And then quite soon you will have new Friends — Holy Spirits, Representatives of the Creator, Who will be your Spiritual Guides, Teachers.

In this way God — as living Reality and not as merely a symbol, an object of questionable faith — enters our everyday life, becomes Real Father-Mother, Friend, Beloved Teacher.

How to Achieve This Practically?

There are natural means of development of cordial love in oneself.

They are, first of all, all the good related to the reproductive sphere: selfless, tender, caring sexuality; care about children.

They are also emotional attunement with the subtle beauty: the beauty of various manifestations of nature, the beauty of harmonious human bodies.

Yet there are also auxiliary methods for cleansing and development of the corresponding energy structures of the organism — the chakras and several most important medians. The use of these methods allows one to accelerate significantly both the mastering of psychic self-regulation and the spiritual growth in general. As we understand now, it concerns first of all the chakra anahata and the spiritual heart growing in it.

It is important to emphasize that quick advancement in this direction can be achieved if one works in nature. It is better to work on special natural places called places of power (we described them in our books mentioned above).

… And now let me tell you how to begin this work on oneself — how one can learn to separated oneself from the material body — of course, not for ever but for the time of meditative training.

The only correct way to do it — is to exit as a developed spiritual heart from the chakra anahata.

Having mastered this completely, we can become convinced that we are not bodies! We are souls, consciousnesses, energies aware of themselves — able to perceive themselves not only in the body but outside of it as well!

Fear of the death of the body then disappears: I can easily exist, continue to live without the body!

And we can continue our study as free consciousnesses, who explore the multidimensional Absolute under the guidance of our Divine Teachers — the Holy Spirits. The main task of our Teachers will be to bring us to the Abode of the Creator.

It is very important for everyone to understand that they are not material bodies! Unfortunately even those people who consider themselves believers lack this knowledge!

Let me note that even in the translation of the New Testament into Russian (and probably into some other languages) there are such expressions as “my soul”, “your soul”. I have heard even such a fool expression as “to lose the soul”…

But the soul is what man is!

The well known international signal SOS (“save our souls”) is also absurd! It implies a call to save bodies, not souls!

The way to saving the soul is completely different: through explanation of religious philosophical truths, through learning the methods of spiritual self-development!

And there is no sense in mourning for deceased people: they are alive! It is only their temporary “dwellings” — their bodies — that have died!

Also there is no meaning to cling to the life of the body when death comes.

Another thing is much more important: how have I lived the life? To what extent have I managed to realize the purpose of my life in this body — before God?

Therefore, let us hurry to become better! And we know now — how to do this!

So, let us begin to work — and God will necessarily help us! He wants this from us most of all! And He is personally interested in this!

Babaji - His Teachings and Kriya Yoga

Posted on Feb 5th, 2008 by Spiritual Heart : Divine Way of Spiritual Heart Spiritual Heart

Babaji is the One Who of His Own Will incarnates on the Earth from age to age to help seekers of the Truth and to edify the spiritual leaders of our planet.

One of the earthly lives of Babaji is known to us from the book of Yogananda (Yogananda — Autobiography of a Yogi. N.Y., “The Philosophical Library”, 1946.). Yogananda describes, in particular, how Babaji easily dematerialized and materialized again His body when He wanted to move to some place on the surface of the Earth; He also performed materialization of objects.

Next coming of Babaji to the Earth in a body was from 1970 to 1984 (He materialized a body which was already adult). He taught people the art of the highest steps of meditative practice and also advised His followers how to organize better their lives in front of God.       more   >>>

The Head Wind

Babaji

I send the head wind to those who
have chosen the Straight Path.
It is not for weak souls!

Babaji from Haidakhan

The head wind blows away the ashes and ignites the heart!

I am sending this wind! I am going toward you!

Do not yield to weakness and fear, do not seek the ways of escaping!

I am embracing you with My Heart and dissolving your pain and doubts!

I am hugging you with the Fire of My Love and Power —

And the scraps of ego are burned like old useless rags!

I am taking off the shackles from your heart —

Surrender to My Divine Power!

This is how ore is purged of slag and becomes pure gold.

Become the purity equal to Me, become —only Me!

Love will merge with Love and I will become you!

My feet I will make your feet!

With My words I will fill your mouth!

With My Love I will fill your heart!

And let your Path on the Earth become Mine!

The Teachings of Babaji

Compiled by Vladimir Antonov

From His last incarnation on Earth Babaji left people a concise and brilliant version of the Teachings of God, the “core” of which is Babaji’s formula.

This formula sounds as follows: “Truth - Simplicity - Love - Karma Yoga (Service to humanity) - Abandonment of the lower self for the sake of merging with the Higher Self of God”.

Simplicity   >>>

Love   >>>

Karma Yoga (Selfless Service)   >>>

Selection of Babaji’s Sayings

You should seek harmony in everything that you do.

Kindle the light in yourself, then kindle it in others. Like spreading light by lightning one candle from another all around a room, so we should spread love from heart to heart.

If you are worthy, I shall show you freedom greater than you have ever dreamed about.

There are many doctrines. Adhere to one principle - that of Truth, Simplicity, and Love. Live in truth, simplicity, and love and practice karma yoga...

The result of hard work is happiness and the result of laziness is pain.

Do not fall back in your work, but go on. Karma yoga is your first duty.

Even the Sun and the Moon can move from their course, but the faith of a devotee should not be shaken. Never be moved by false doctrines.

Think of the Earth as of a Mother. This is one Earth. Don’t be divided by thinking of yourselves as belonging to different countries. We belong to one Earth. Look to the future with a vision of good deeds for the whole world, not just one country.

There is only one way for mankind to be saved and that is by changing the hearts of all people. Shri Mahaprabhuji will give His full spiritual power to this, but every man and woman will also have to make their best efforts toward this end...

Everyone must use his own common sense and do his duty without waiting to be told what to do. To do your duty is the greatest worship (of God), the greatest service, the greatest devotion and penance (tapas).

You must seek Liberation and help to liberate others.   read more  >>>

Krishna and Bhagavad Gita

Posted on Feb 3rd, 2008 by Spiritual Heart : Divine Way of Spiritual Heart Spiritual Heart

The Bhagavad Gita — or, in translation from Sanskrit, the Song of God — is the most important part of the Indian epic poem Mahabharata. The latter describes events that took place 5-7 thousand years ago.

The Bhagavad Gita is a great philosophical work that played the same role in the history of India, as the New Testament did in the history of countries of the European culture. Both these books powerfully proclaim the principle of Love-Bhakti as the basis of spiritual self-development of man. The Bhagavad Gita also presents to us a complete notion about such fundamental problems of philosophy as what is man, what is God, what is the meaning of human life and the principles of human evolution.

The main hero of the Bhagavad Gita is Krishna — an Indian raja and an Avatar — embodiment of a Part of the Creator, Who gave to people through Krishna greatest spiritual precepts.

Philosophical truths are expounded in the Bhagavad Gita in the form of a dialogue between Krishna and His friend Arjuna before a military combat…

…Answers of Krishna are the essence of the Bhagavad Gita — one of the greatest — by profoundness of wisdom and breadth of the fundamental problems covered — books existing on the Earth…

Tao and Tao Te Ching

Posted on Jan 29th, 2008 by Spiritual Heart : Divine Way of Spiritual Heart Spiritual Heart

Taoism is the Teachings about Tao and about the Path to It, which
consists in the development of oneself, cognition of Tao, and Mergence with It.

Tao is an Infinitely Great and Tender Being, God in the aspect
of the Creator.

Tao waits us in Itself, gently caring about those who go to It
by developing themselves as spiritual hearts, as Love. After all, God is
Love!

The Founder of Taoism was the Divine Emperor of China Huang Di,
Who presented this knowledge to people through His student Lao Tse. Lao
Tse wrote the treatise Tao Te Ching dictated to Him by Huang Di.

Tao Te Ching

Russian edition by Vladimir Antonov
Translated from Russian into English by Dr Mikhail Nikolenko

1. One cannot know Tao only by speaking about It.

One cannot name by human name that Origin of the sky and earth Which is the Mother of everything.

Only he who is free from worldly passions can see It; and he who has such passions can see only Its Creation.

Tao and Its Creation are One
in essence though called by different names. The passage which exists
between them is the door to all the miraculous.

2. When people know what is beautiful, they understand also what is ugly.

When they learn what is good, they realize also what is evil.

In this way, beingness and non-beingness, hard and easy, long and short, high and low allow knowing each other.

Different sounds mix and create harmony. And so the preceding and the succeeding follow each other harmoniously.

The wise prefers non-doing and lives in quietness.
Everything happens around such a person as if by itself. He is not
attached to anything on the Earth. He does not own anything made by
him. He is not proud about his works.

Since he does not exalt himself, does not boast, does not require special respect from others — he is pleasant to all.

3. If the chosen are not
exalted, no one envies them. If material treasures are not praised, no
one steals them. In other words, if the objects of passions are not
shown off, there are no temptations.

The wise ruler does not
create such temptations to people but takes care that people have
enough food. This eliminates passions and strengthens people’s health.
Yes, the wise ruler always strives to prevent temptations and passions
and does not let evil people act.

The absence of these problems brings calm.

4. Tao looks like void. Yet, It is omnipotent!

It is in the Depth.

It is the Origin of everything.

It controls everything.

It pervades everything.

It is Shining Light.

It is the subtlest!

It is the Main Essence of everything!

One cannot describe Its origin, for It is Primal.

5. The matter — both in the
sky and on the earth — is dispassionate toward all creatures, be they
plants, animals, people. Though, it is the base for all of them.

In the same way, the wise is dispassionate toward others.

The space above the earth is
void and free like the space inside a bellows or a flute. The more
there is space for action, the more efficient the action can be.

He, who interferes with actions of others and talks too much becomes unbearable for people.

Therefore, it is always better to follow the principle of non-interference and keep calm.

6. The life and development of the Subtlest  are eternal and infinite.

It is the Deepest Base of everything.

On It the material world exists.

It acts without violence.

 7. The sky and the Earth are lasting. They last long because they exist not on themselves and not for the sake of themselves. They are created by Tao and exist for It.

The wise places himself
behind others and thus does not hinder other people and can lead them.
He does not treasure the life of his body, and his life is guarded by
Tao.

This happens because he also exists here not for the sake of himself. This is why his personal needs are realized for him.

The wise exists for Tao and serves It.

8. The wise lives like
water. Water serves all beings and does not require anything for
itself. It exists below all things. In this respect, it is similar to
Tao.

Life has to follow the principle of naturalness.

Follow the path of heart! Be friendly!

Tell only truth!

When guiding others, follow the principle of keeping calm!

Every action has to be realizable and done in time.

He who does not strive to be ahead of others can avoid many mistakes.

 9. One should not pour water
into a full vessel. And there is no sense to sharpen the edge too much.
And if the room is overfilled with gold and jasper who will guard it?

Excessiveness in everything leads to troubles.

When the work is finished, one should retire.

Such are the laws of harmony suggested by Tao.

10. In order to maintain calm, one has to feel the Unity with Everything. Then one does not develop false egocentric desires.

One has to refine the
consciousness. Let man become in this respect to a newborn baby. He who
became so subtle becomes free from delusions.

One has to rule the country and people with love for them and without violence.

The gate from the world of matter to the hidden world is open when one stays in calm. Understanding of this truth comes in non-doing.

To educate without violence,
to create without boasting, to produce without possessing the products,
to be older than others and do not command them: this is the true
righteousness of the Great Te!

Divine Masters of Taoism speaks:

Huang Di

“I want to tell a little about that which is eternal — as eternal as the shining of stars in the universal space…

“The eternal is Love! Civilizations come, flourish, and disappear, new life arises and vanishes in various corners of the universe — but Love remains everywhere the unchanging Basis of Everything.

“Love is the language of life that God speaks in the universe! Love is the language that helps people to understand each other! Love is the language that helps man to understand God! After all, God is Love!”…

more   >>>

Lao Tse

“… Yes, the ancient Chinese civilization is one of those important cultures of the Earth that humanity still remembers about. Its development from the very beginning was guided by Avatar Huang Di.

“It is since that time that people began to call by the name Tao the One and Indivisible Whole — God in the aspect of the Primordial Consciousness.

“Tao is above everything and in the Depth beneath everything.

“It is beyond understanding of the ordinary mind, yet It can be cognized with a developed consciousness.

“Tao is the Highest, the most Subtle and Blissful, inseparable into male and female, into left and right, into more and less perfect.

“It creates. It manifests with Itself the Original Essence of all things and phenomena, yet It is not these things or phenomena.

“Tao is omnipresent.

“Everything in the world of matter have certain limits, but Tao is unlimited and eternal.

“Only those dedicating their lives to cognition of Tao and living in love and calm can cognize the Primordial Tao.

“Millennia pass…, but the Teachings about Tao and about the path to It remain among people.”…

Buddha - Shakyamuni Speaks

Posted on Jan 22nd, 2008 by Spiritual Heart : Divine Way of Spiritual Heart Spiritual Heart

“The true foundation of the entire universe is Love!...

“Everything is filled with life, everything develops thanks to love, regardless of whether one knows about it or not. And it would be unwise to turn away from this knowledge when it knocks at one’s door.”

 Shakyamuni

Thus Spoke Buddha *

1. Take the precept to abstain from killing.

2. Take the precept to abstain from stealing.

3. Take the precept to abstain from adultery.

4. Take the precept to abstain from lying.

5. Take the precept to abstain from liquor.

And did the thought never occur to you that you also are subject to decay, that you also cannot escape it?

And did the thought never occur to you that you also are subject to disease, that you also cannot escape it?

And did the thought never occur to you that you also are subject to death, that you also cannot escape it?

Not for the sake of My own well-being I practice universal benevolence, but... it is My desire to contribute to the happiness of living beings!

Do not do to others what you would not like be done to yourself!

Goodwill toward all beings is the true religion!

Cherish in your hearts boundless goodwill toward all that lives!

You must not worry; your mouth must not say evil words; you must remain benevolent, with pure loving heart, thinking no evil.

And even your enemies you have to embrace with loving thoughts, generous thoughts, deep and boundless thoughts purified from anger and hatred!

The distinctive signs of true religion are goodwill, love, truthfulness, purity, nobility of feeling, and kindness.

Immortality can be reached only by continuous acts of kindness; Perfection is accomplished by compassion and charity.

That which is most needed is a loving heart!

“I am being hated, mistrusted, misunderstood and deceived by others!” — he who harbors such thoughts in his mind can never become free from the causes which inflict their destructiveness upon the thinker.

Whatever harm one man may do to another, the evil-thinking mind inflicts even greater harm (upon its owner).

Evil… is born of the selfhood, and in the selfhood is its cause.

Evil “polishes” the universe like a diamond…

I teach you to avoid the ten evils:

1. Kill not, but have regard for life!

2. Steal not, neither do you rob, but help everybody to be master of the fruits of their labor!

3. Abstain from impurity, and lead a life of chastity!

4. Lie not, but be truthful! Speak the truth with discretion, fearlessly, and with a loving heart!

5. Invent not evil reports, neither do you repeat them! Carp not, but look for the good sides of your fellow-beings, so that you may with sincerity, defend them against their enemies!

6. Swear not, but speak decently and with dignity!

7. Waste not the time in gossip, but keep to the purpose or keep silence!

8. Covet not, nor envy, but rejoice at the fortunes of others!

9. Cleanse yourself of malice and harbor no hatred, not even against your enemies, but embrace all living beings with kindness!

10. Free your mind of ignorance and be anxious to learn the truth, especially in the one thing that is needed, lest you fall a prey either to skepticism or to errors!

Let no one deceive another, let no one despise another, let no one wish to harm another out of anger or resentment!

1. Do not kill!

2. Do not steal!

3. Do not commit adultery!

4. Do not tell lies!

5. Do not slander!

6. Do not speak harshly!

7. Do not engage in idle talks!

8. Do not covet others’ property!

9. Do not show hatred!

10. Think righteously!

Shakyamuni Speaks Today

(From Conversations with Non-Incarnate Divine Teacher Shakyamuni)

“The true foundation of the entire universe is Love!

“He who wants to know the primal essence of all things must be full of love, first and foremost.

“The opposite of love — disregard toward others and self-conceit — casts man into the abyss of ignorance and illusions.

“It is love that endows man with the eyes which can perceive the Truth.

“Love for all living beings helped Me, too, to find the Way.

“Without such love, man can only wander about in the darkness of illusions.

“Let this love illuminate the way of every seeker of the Truth!”

“My purpose in My last incarnation was to bring to people the state of total freedom from the shackles of the material world, to reveal to them that there is Liberation, that it is really possible.”

“What are the distinctive features of Your Path?”

“It is the Path of realizing that all we — in our very essence — are potentially completely free.

“I cognized this Freedom in the depths of Myself, when sought the Primordial Essence of everything. I cognized that in My deepest essence I am not bound by anything happening in the world of matter.

“It is this truth that I wanted to convey to people: that in their very Essence they are free and that this Freedom is by far more valuable than any property in the material world. Thus, there is no reason to fight with each other, to envy others, to be jealous. Everyone possesses the most priceless Treasure from the very birth. It just needs to be discovered.”...
